Issue #7/12: GOD SAVE THE KING!
At long last, I am so very excited to bring to you VOID #7: GOD SAVE THE KING! This issue will feature art by Omaik Blanco (see VOID #3: SUFFER A WITCH!) with letters by Przemyslaw R. Dedelis.
This amazing, jaw-dropping cover is courtesy of phenomenal comic artist, Mike Rooth! Mike is a well-known artist from Ontario, Canada who has worked on some of the biggest characters for the biggest companies in the business. When I asked him to do this cover, he went above and beyond and has delivered one of the most compelling drawings of one of my characters I’ve ever seen.
Here are the original pencils before he added the colors:
Thank you, Mike, for sharing your immense talent with me and the readers of … VOID!
As for the cover subject, who is this obviously pregnant beauty? Why is she so sad? How does she and her soon to be born child fit into the story of VOID? That’s what this issue is all about!
The origin of VOID is so big, it can’t be told in one issue! So this issue is actually Part 1 of 2! I hope you are as excited about reading it as I am about telling it!
I also have more good news! Beginning Monday, 20 May, I will publish VOID three times per week! Yep, you’ll get a new page each Monday, Wednesday and Friday! So you won’t have to wait so long to see what happens next!
Thanks to all of you for your support in helping me get to this part of the story! Prepare to go back in time with the man we know as VOID and see what changed him from the man he WAS to the tortured and enigmatic soul we know today!
Coming 20 May 2013: The memories of … VOID!
