01 – HEART of the BEAST!
Welcome to issue #4 of VOID! While I am very proud of this issue and the monster story it entails, I am also proud to honor one of my good buddies and his amazing creativity! I’m talking about Randy Belaire.
The character introduced here, “Sir Randall Belaire,” is a tribute to my Canadian friend, Randy. And Sir Belaire’s nickname … “Shadow Chaser,” is the name of Randy’s amazing creation by the same name! Who, in their right mind, would be hunting at night? With all those “beasties” out there? No offense to your friend, Randy. Unlike your friend’s character, I wouldn’t be caught DEAD out there … even if I was armed.
Actually, “Sir Randall” had no news of anything out of the ordinary roaming the forests of Lancashire. As stated above, he’s seen the occasional wolf, but nothing at all that might pose any danger to anyone. Who knows? Maybe nothing at all bad will happen on this trip anyway!
