03 – Like a THING Alive!
Alas, poor Conway! I liked him. I hope he had a decent insurance plan!
From the depths of Hell, we welcome our very first MONSTER to the “Void universe!” What is its purpose? What does it want? And what does it mean when it says it was “once” human, but “no more?”
This creature will push Void to a level you’ve not seen to date in our ongoing tale. Pray that he survives!
Special thanks to my awesome letterer, Samuel Grey, for adding that splash of color to the credits! Well done, Samuel!

Oh my freakin gosh!!! Not the Prince of fire!! ****trembling****
I’m guessing (hoping) that Void has a plan here! Get ready for things to spin out of control!
FIRE??? Oh, I hate FIRE!!! Guess all the fire hoses in the world wouldn’t put him out . . . how is VOID going to handle this firestorm? **shiver**
Fire is truly a scary thing … it needs oxygen, moves on its own, kills without mercy, “consumes” its victims. And yes, this fire would not go out with water. Void does have a plan … I just hope, for HIS sake, that it works. I’ve just got a really bad feeling about it!
Oh no!!! Please tell me there will be a happy ending to this story!!! PLEASE!!!
I WISH I could, Tisa. But as you saw from the last page of issue #1, VOID’s world is a very difficult one, and there are lots of scary things lurking in the shadows. All I can say is that this creature, whatever it is, will be a much bigger threat than a street punk dressed like a cat and an angry ghost!
Am looking forward to the story….whatever you write, I want to read. The color added is really good. Good luck!
Thanks, Eva. The trick is starting a tale interesting enough to make people care to follow it. That was my intent with issue #1. With the foundation set, we can take off now and start uncovering all those mysteries. I just hope Void can survive issue #2!
