10/12: Casting VOID – Georgia Fontaine (Bryce Dallas Howard)!

She’s the sad and vulnerable receptionist who fears her past and what may walk in the door of “Void Investigations” as much as she fears Deacon Void himself.  She’s wounded, widowed, and abandoned by a father she thought would always love her.  An American very much out of place in London’s East End, she’s an enigma to readers of Void and to reporter Peter Drissell, who is already finding his heart slipping away into her grasp.  Of all the characters introduced so far in Void, she has drawn the most attention (other than the main man, of course)!

Bryce being rescued by Spidey in Spider-Man 3. She already has experience "hanging around" with a mysterious, masked man!

Bryce with her famous father, Ron Howard.

Just how did lovely Georgia come to this terrible existence, and what’s her story?  In a motion picture, no one would be a better choice to play out this role than the beautiful Bryce Dallas Howard.  The daughter of Hollywood legend Ron Howard (award winning director and former child star from the Andy Griffith Show), Bryce stormed into big-time movie stardom as the mysterious Lady in the Lake opposite Paul Giamatti, then stole Peter Parker’s heart as the innocent Gwen Stacey in Spider-Man 3.  She was a tough, futuristic warrior woman in Terminator: Salvation and is a big star already on the rise.

Will Georgia ever find happiness?  Or will she be destroyed by the evil and darkness that always seems to encircle her boss?  And how did she get here in the first place?  It’s all ahead in our unfolding tale, and if Bryce’s past roles are any indication, I’m betting her version of Georgia will come out on top in the end!
