12 – Like a THING Alive!
Good job, Peter! (Dripping with sarcasm)! But I have a feeling this will not be the last time these two characters meet.
We are now at the midpoint of this story arc. Do you like it so far? Hate it? Either way, please drop me a line and let me know!
Beginning immediately, I will publish TWO (2) pages per week until we finish this pulse-pounding issue! And what a way to start it, because coming this Thursday, October 13, Deacon Void returns to the London pier seeking the evil fire creature known as FLEROUS! It’s an explosive meeting you will NOT want to miss!
Turn on the heat and join VOID on Facebook right here!
Special Announcement!!!!!
Congratulations to Samuel Gray, letterer of this very page and issue of Void, on his selection to letter Xenoholics, a new comic series published by IMAGE Comics! Way to go, Samuel! I have been telling readers that Void showcases the very best talent in the world of comics and this proves my point! This is just the beginning of good things for Samuel and I hope he stays with Void as he continues his climb to the top! Well done, Samuel! We in the Void family are very proud of you!!!

LATE Johnny Fontaine? LATE? As in DEAD? Well, guess THAT obstacle isn’t in the way of a budding romance.
Course, unless she is the reason he is “LATE”! That could put a damper on things.
Agree with Tisa. The proverb and quote at the end are very true. Excellent depth to today’s posting. There is more, looking forward to this twice a week.
Thanks, Eva. Alas, poor Georgia has a very BAD day ahead of her coming soon. First Void will confront the fire demon at the wharf, and after that? Things will NEVER be the same!
Unless Johnny Fontaine isn’t “late” at all. What if Georgia just THINKS he’s dead but instead he’s really … ahhh … no need for me to plant THAT seed, is there?
Well, if SHE thinks he’s dead and Peter thinks he’s dead . . . what else could there be??? Unless…oh, no, please not that again!!! My little heart couldn’t take him coming back from the dead!!!
No doubt the world thinks he’s dead. I was just wondering whose face is beneath the bandages that cover the face of Mr. Void? Could that be why Georgia trusted him when none of the other women who applied for the job did? I don’t know … maybe I’m wrong. I shouldn’t spread rumors. I guess we’ll find out in due time.
And there’s also this business with “Daddy, why did you forsake me?” I don’t know … just rambling.
And as for “Daddy” forsaking her, that can mean so many things. Like deserting her when she needed him most, doing Johnny harm that caused Johnny’s death, kicking her out when she first fell in love with Johnny . . . who knows. Guess we’ll all find out together as the story continues.
This is sooooooo adicting.
Now, be nice!! If Mr. Void is mourning the loss of this other woman and child . . . it CAN’T be Johnny. Bet you thought I forgot that, didn’t you!?!
How can you be sure that the “other woman” is not Georgia? Wasn’t there something in issue #1 about a woman who turned out to be a ghost? She even fooled Void himself for awhile! How do we know that Georgia is even alive? Just saying. It’s not like I have any insider information or anything.
Now you’re just teasing. LOL Besides, he doesn’t treat her like a long lost love.
HAHA! That’s right. I’m juuuuusssstttttt teasssssssssssing!
