20 – Let Man Put Asunder!

Be honest with me … don’t you feel alittle sympathy for Oscar?  Just a touch of it?  No?  Okay, me neither!  So what do you think of Void’s “power?”  Let me know.  But beware … there are still secrets you need to know about what just happened.  There is a price to be paid for venturing into and out of … the VOID!  Let’s get some thoughts from Void himself next week before you make up your mind!

The "things" that took Oscar Gwynn just after he found himself alone in the darkness of ... the VOID!

I was going to ask about the RED EYES behind Oscar until I saw this last picture, and then felt a warm fuzzy feeling that he was going to get exactly what he deserves. Thanks, VOID for teaching Oscar the fear he put Anne thru. :-)

I think Deacon said it all as he departed the Void. (That quote was originally used by Bela Lugosi from the original DRACULA, FYI)! :)

It has been many years since I saw the original Dracula. Guess I’m going to have to see it again. :-)

As you know from the “Void Influences” series, the old Universal monster films weigh heavily on the process that eventually led to VOID. Lugosi NEVER got the acclaim he deserved as an actor. His delivery of that line in DRACULA is absolutely “chill worthy!”

BTW, NO! I feel no sympathy for Oscar. None whatsoever!!!

I don’t blame you for not feeling sorry for Oscar. He was evil to the core … his abuse of Anne was just the outward display of his inner filth. But it’s not free to come and go from the Void. And there is still one little aspect of this sad tale that has not emerged yet, so get ready! :)

Whoa!! Feeling nervous!! The artwork is terrifying!

Thanks! The “look” of the place called “the Void” was visualized by me and created through photo shop by artist Blake Wilkie. The red eyes were added by someone very close to me … son William III! :)

Bella Lugosi’ eyes were the coolest part to watch in his movies-scary yet wanted to watch for more. So the Void is full of creepy that Oscar deserves to be their “snack.” Whenever you think you are the leader, there is always someone/something bigger than you to take the lead. Ha, good place for him….just so he does not come back from the Void worse than he went in…hmmm, is this the future then? Red eyes & Sting, go together-good job. Remember lime green too. You have the best artists working with you on artwork I’ve seen in some time.

Thank you, Eva! I do have great artists, and Sting’s finishing touch is perfect! There will NEVER be another Bela, as you already know! As for Oscar returning in the future? You never know, but he did not remain in the Void. The place he went as soon as Deacon left … well … I don’t think ANYONE will come back from there! :)
