27 – CONCLUSION: Let Man Put Asunder!

Attention all VOID readers!  This concludes story arc #1.  This comic is a labor of love that I hope you have enjoyed and want to see more of.  PLEASE drop me a line and tell me what you think!  It’s not easy or cheap to produce an online comic, but it’s worth it if you enjoy the character and the direction of the story.  So please let me know what you think.  Void’s future depends on YOU!

In the gathering darkness and gloom of the London night, Deacon Void bows his head to cry ... but no tears come forth. If you can find it in your heart, say a prayer for him tonight, and thank God that YOU are not the man they call ... VOID!

With Issue #1 completed, we’ve only scratched the surface of where we intend to go with Void and his collection of allies and enemies, many of which have yet to surface.  Get ready for issue #2, which is going to show you a side of Void you’ve never seen, and further unwrap the mystery of his past.  I hope to see you then!

Coming July 21: An original VOID pin-up by legendary Marvel horror artist, DON PERLIN! (Ghost Rider, Werewolf By Night)

Coming July 26: An original, FULL COLOR cover to Issue #2 by artist Rich Hennemann (the cover artist for my 2009 novel, I Know Why the Dogwoods Blush)!

Coming July 28: Story Arc #2 begins:  Like A THING Alive! There is something evil lurking amid the docks of London’s East End!  And it KNOWS Deacon Void … by NAME!

I have set a goal of getting 500 followers on Facebook for my boy, Deacon Void. Please help spread the word so I can achieve this goal!  Thanks!

You know I will. Loved this first one. I’m sure I’ll love the second, third, fourth ….. Thanks for sharing VOID. It sure brings out the kid in this girl. :-D

I love the emotion in this page! Whew! It’s powerful!

Thanks. I got pretty emotional reading it, too! Wonder what he emant about the “scars on his soul?” I have a feeling that’s going to be emotional, too! :)

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Ready for July 28th…good reading Bill

Thanks, Eva. And yes, physical beauty or ugliness is in the eye of the beholder. I’m thinking Deacon Void’s face reflects some sins of the past. And that’s what we are going to explore together! :)
