Issue #3: Suffer A Witch!

Welcome to issue #3/12 of our ongoing series that follows the mysterious man we call … VOID.  This issue’s cover art comes from my friend, Atlanta-based artist Jason Flowers.

Jason’s work has graced the pages of HorrorHound Magazine, Arcana Comics, FC9 Comics, Black Thumb Press, and Octa-Ink Press. He has illustrated work for NETHERWORLDS HAUNTED HOUSE, the band-HALLOWS EVE, SPLATTER CINEMA, and the ATLANTA ROLLER GIRLS.  As you’ve probably noticed, he’s a huge fan of horror comics and films and I am elated to have him do his brand of amazing art on this issue’s cover.  You can check out more of his work at the link below.  Thanks, Jason!

This issue continues to push Void from many directions.  You’ll finally meet the mysterious voice on the other end of the phone, Sir Edmund Grayson, the man who’s been directing Void from afar from day #1.  You’ll meet Louhi Waterhouse, the evil “Witch of Endor,” who will be a MAJOR villain for the remainder of this series.  You’ll also meet bloodthirsty Maria Taliferro, one of the most vicious vampires you’ll ever see.  Not to mention more insights into Georgia, Peter, and Void (both the man and the place)!  And don’t forget Darwin Koenig, Apollo Thorne, and their mysterious cult called H.A.T.E.! They are all here as artist Omaik Blanco makes his debut with an amazingly original artistic style.  I hope you’ll like it.

Join us this Tuesday, December 13, 2011, as we visit the forests of Lancashire, England, the Year of our Lord, 1612.  There’s a witch to be hanged, and she’s NOT happy!

SUFFER A WITCH begins NOW!  Get ready to hit the ground running!

I can hardly wait. Seems like it takes forever to the next page. This is going to be an interesting chapter, I can tell. :-)

Although I kinda like them all, this issue is the creepiest of all (so far)! Issue #1 showed Void’s “sensitive” side, issue #2 showed his “tough guy” side, and issue #3 will really start to delve into his mysterious past and begin revealing insights into who he REALLY is!!! It’ll be a wild ride, and Omaik’s art is amazing!

Thanks, Tisa. The place represents the Seward Asylum for the Criminally Insane. And what lurks behind that door at the end of the corridor is what this issue is all about!

Looking forward to this one. Guess I’m going to be hiding my face alot. :-D

There is also a back-up feature that I’m proud of, not to mention some amazing “guest-artist” pin-ups and special messages from Void for Christmas, New Year’s and Valentine’s Day! All in all, Issue #3 is shaping up to be the best one so far! (I hope readers will agree)! :)
