National Flag Day: The VOID Salutes YOU!
Today is National Flag Day in the USA. It’s a day to proudly display the red, white & blue of Old Glory while acknowledging the birthday of not only our flag, but the US Army. Both were established by the Continental Congress in 1775.
While Deacon Void is a citizen of the British Empire, even he wanted to take a moment and say “Happy Birthday” to these two stalwarts in the never-ending battle for freedom across the world!
By the way, the artist for this little tribute is the same “mystery artist” who has been posting drawings on the VOID Facebook page for some time now. His name? Some chump named … BILL CAIN.
Hey, I know I’m not in the same league as the great artists who bring you Void each week, but I at least wanted to do my part! I hope you like it! There will be more to come!
Coming 19 June 2012: Part 6/24 of Void, Issue #4: HEART OF THE BEAST!!!

Great job!
Thanks! All my favorites!
You did the drawing? WOW!!! I second Renee’s comment: GREAT JOB!!!
Thanks, Tisa. Yep, that’s 100% my work, including the sloppy lettering, which I need to work on. All the drawings I’ve been posting on the VOID FACEBOOK page of a “mystery artist” were drawn by me. And issue #10 of Void will be a 100% Bill Cain production … created, written, drawn, lettered and colored by yours truly! Look for more on that in the future. But for now, please bear with me as I try my best to bring the very best creativity possible to the world of … VOID!
