The Letter

It’s Valentine’s Day.  No explanation needed.  But if you have ever been separated from your soul mate on this day, then you know how miserable the feeling can be.  Welcome to the world of Deacon Void.

Last year, I posted a lonely visit to an old cemetery where Void visited the unmarked graves of a woman and child.  You can re-visit that post right here:

Even though a year has passed since that post, it’s only been a few days for Deacon Void.  And so, for the first time ever, I am sharing the letter, hand-written by our hero, that he left behind along with the roses on those graves.  What does it mean?  Who is Crispin?  Who is Susan and the unnamed child he longs to hold?  Alas, those are questions for another day.

Very beautiful letter. Void sure has a heart of gold! Happy Valentine’s Day to Void, you and yours.

And to you, Tisa! :) I think this letter sould raise many questions among VOID readers, but as for Void’s heart, I think I must finally agree with you. Anyone who would write a letter such of this MUST have a good heart! No way can he be one of the bad guys, right?

There is so much torment in the letter. Dying to know if the child was a boy or girl.

The letter is quite emotional for sure. As for the child, who the child might be, and really who any of those names might be is a mystery I hope we eventually find the answers to. And no one wants to know about the child more than the man we know as … VOID!

Suspense is building, there is much to learn. Child? Lost love? How sad…it did bring a few tears. Rest in peace, I sure hope so…..The man, VOID, has had way too much sorrow and grief. How sad. Revenge will be sweet.
