I can understand the doctor’s reluctance on not commenting. I don’t think he believes she’s gone for good either. But it sure is interesting the change in view made by Peter. First not trusting Void then taking his hat off to him … I’m curious to read his journal entry. Maybe his true feelings will come out.
Okay, misread … I’d be curious to read both a journal entry from both Peter and Mr. Holmes. I’m sure what they “REALLY” feel would be interesting.
Peter’s little “talk” with Void at the scene of the murders … and his understanding of the sign that has haunted him for years … has caused Peter to soften toward Void. Not to mention Peter’s growing affection for Georgia. Dr. Sewell? He’s simply doing his part to help Void thanks to the shadowing of Sir Grayson. I want readers to see “into the mind” of Sir Holmes for a reason. He’s been a 2nd tier character so far, but that’s all about to change. And what you’ll see on the outside is far far far different from what’s on the inside. There is a storm coming in the world of Deacon Void! And it’s gonna get rough!
Hope that Sir Grayson is going to stay one of the good guys. Hope he’s not playing both sides … that thought came to mind when he didn’t allow Void to kill her.
There are things even VOID does not yet know about Grayson. As their relationship unfolds, things will get interesting … VERY interesting!
What a beautiful piece of artwork, why is she so beautiful and bad at the same time? Black cats get bad raps, it goes with the judgement of the cover.
Louhi made her decision eons ago to follow a dark path! The centuries have tainted her even more so. And she’s just getting started with Void! While I have no sympathy for her, I agree on the black kitties! I used to own one … Onyx … who was a sweetheart! I miss him still!
